How can you lose your drivers license?
- driving or being in physical control of the vehicle while you are under the influence
- refusing to allow a police officer to test you for alcohol
- leaving the scene of a collision in which you were involved without first identifying yourself
Failure to appear (FTA)
failing to appear for, comply with, respond to, or pay a traffic infraction or criminal citation for a moving traffic offense.
If you dont comply within 15 days of notice, the court notifies us and we will mail you a notice of suspension. You then have 45 days to comply or they will suspend your driving privilege.

edge and lane lines

white lane markings
- solid white lines are used to mark both edges of two-way roads and to separate bicycle lanes
- A dashed white line, between lanes of traffic means that you may cross it to change
- A solid white line, means you should stay in your lane unless a special situation requires you to do so
yellow lane markings
- solid yellow lines, mark the left edge of one-way roads and separate traffic moving in opposite directions
- a dashed yellow line, between opposing lanes of traffic means that you may cross it to pass if it is safe to do so
