Q

What is eco-transhumanism?

A

The belief that the ecosystem and nature are the most important things, and that we need to improve technology to help it. Most people who support this ideology believe that this can be done by using renewable energy sources, but to its most extreme extent, eco-transhumanism wants people to improve space technology so lots of people can go to space to save the Earth.

Q

What is left communism?

A

Communism requires a classless society, but to create this, there must be a very powerful government. To avoid the creation of this government, left communism is where a socialist state happens immediately without the powerful government.

Q

What is council communism?

A

To avoid the creation of a powerful government, this is where councillors will be the ‘leaders’ of the ‘revolution’, so after this has occurred, they will have no power to hold onto because they never had any proper power in the first place.

16
Q

What is Georgism?

A

This is where there is only one tax: a tax on the ownership of land. This then discourages people from buying land, so people own less land and the government gets smaller.

17
Q

What is liberal socialism?

A

This is where there are free markets (because of liberalism) and the economy is also redistributive (because of socialism). Removing monopolies and redistributing money are essentially the only things the government can do, so it is very anti-government.

18
Q

What was classical Marxism?

A

The belief that consumerism and capitalism is bad, and that people should focus on trading and not monetary gain.

19
Q

What is libertarian socialism?

A

The belief that businesses ‘enslave’ people just as much as some governments do, so if people want true freedom, this can only be achieved by a society that is not purely focused on money.

20
Q

What is libertarian market socialism?

A

Where there is a universally shared market that makes money pointless. So groups of people trade what they need with other people, and it is not all focused on money.

21
Q

What is situationism?

A

This is against having things that you don’t need.

22
Q

What is minarcho-socialism?

A

Socialism, but the government is very very small. The only existence of a ‘government’ or a ‘state’ is an organisation that punishes people for violent crime (you can only be punished for crime that harms other people).

23
Q

What is anarcho-pacifism?

A

This views violence as a form of ruling over someone else. So using violence (a form of rule) to stop another form of rule, goes against the goal that is trying to be achieved.

24
Q

What is anarcho-mutualism?

A

This is where money does not exist, and instead the focus is on trade.

25
Q

What is anarcho-collectivism?

A

There are some groups that are controlled by the workers that work within them, and the groups have their own economies within themselves.

26
Q

What is anarcho-communism?

A

Where nobody owns anything, the state does not exist, money does not exist, and people work together, and society is classless.
