What is labourism?
The belief that the working class should be prioritised by the government.
What is distributism?
The belief that there should be shared ownership of a nation’s assets and means of production.
What is social nationalism?
Nationalism, but with a socialist economy within that nation.
What is unionism?
The belief that power should be evenly shared.
What is Christian democracy?
Fairly at the centre of the political compass, a liberal democracy (eg. People get to vote) but all based off the Bible.
What is Castroism?
Mainly focuses on common ownership of all property, a strong military and unity within the nation.
What is technocracy?
The belief that the smartest/strongest person should lead the country (not democracy).
What was social gospel?
Possibly defined as having political beliefs based on the Bible (was the reason for for creation of laws such as child labour laws).
What is futurism?
The belief that the primary goal of society is to make advancements in things like healthcare and science.
What is state capitalism?
Where the state will sell and make products for profit.
What is left populism?
A political ideology with a focus on workers
What is collectivism?
The belief that one person can ‘suffer’ or have certain rights taken away for the benefit of the group.
What is agrarianism?
Complete equality of power to make decisions among everyone.
What is social transhumanism?
The idea that the main focus of a government should be to try to exceed the capabilities of what humans are capable of by a redistributive economy.
What is conservative socialism?
The state should maintain traditional conservative values whilst also having a redistributive economy.
