Fulcrum: the fixed point or pivot

Load: point where the weight/resistance is coming from

Effort: point where the force/effort is applied

How to recognise the classes of levers?

A

In the First Class the fulcrum is in the middle so the first class is (F) meaning 1st

In the Second Class the load is in the middle so the second class is (L) meaning 2nd

In the Third Class the effort is in the middle so the third class is (E) meaning 3rd
