Q

how do u conduct a sign test

A
  1. State hypotheses (alternative & null).
  2. Record data & assign a sign (+ or -).
  3. Find S (number of times less frequent sign appears).
  4. Compare S to critical value (use p≤0.05).
  5. State conclusion (accept/reject null hypothesis).

Q

whats the rule of R

A

✔ If the test name contains R → calculated value must be gReater than or equal to the critical value.
✔ If no R → calculated value must be less than or equal to the critical value.
