Find the attachment
Often you will find it from a trigger
You have to feel it, not think it

What if the thing you need to let go is unconscious?
A
Tune into sensations- before they get labeled as emotions
Heart rate faster, cortisol increase
Experience it FULLY and UNCONDITIONALLY

How is a cold shower a letting go practice?
A
Relax into the cold, experience fully
Tensing is you resisting the cold
Just like you resist triggering negative sensations

What blocks you from letting go?
A
- Resistance
- Lack on awareness
- Trying to get rid of it, rather than fully experience it
- Label good, bad, attachment, aversion, stop doing that
- You are hanging on to it, why do think that is?
- Express it without finding the
cause - Distract yourself
- Simple coping: Breathe (helps but not get to cause)
- Numbing, food, alcohol, drugs, meds, mini-ego highs
KEY- MOVE TOWARDS IT
LETTING GO MEDITATION
BREATH a RELEASE TO the RESISTANCE AROUND IT
BREATH INTO IT, experience it fully, not push it away, be okay with it being there forever
