An order instruction that remains active until it’s either filled or canceled by the investor.
Good ‘Til Canceled (GTC)
A debt instrument issued by a government to raise funds.

An arrangement allowing underwriters to buy additional shares at the IPO price to stabilize the price.
Green Shoe Option
Trading of a security, product, or service before its official release or outside of an official exchange.
Grey Market
The total market value of all final goods and services produced within a country in a given time period.
Gross Domestic Product (GDP)
The total revenue a person or business receives before any deductions or taxes.
Gross Income
The difference between sales revenue and the cost of goods sold, often expressed as a percentage.
Gross Margin
The profit a company makes after subtracting the cost of producing its products but before deducting operating expenses.

A mutual fund that invests in companies expected to grow at an above-average rate compared to other stocks.
Growth Fund
The rate at which a company, economy, or investment is increasing in size or value.
Growth Rate
A share in a company whose earnings are expected to grow at an above-average rate.

An insurance contract that promises to return principal and a fixed or floating interest rate over its term.
