What have we forgotten?

A

We have forgotten that it is not God’s will for us to suffer. Suffering does not turn us to God. Our desire to be free from suffering turns us to God.

Q

What is the secondary cause of suffering?

A
  1. Wrong thinking that causes humankind to have a belief of being separated from God.
  2. Our unwillingness, because of fear and indifference, to make an effort to let go of these wrong beliefs that bind us.
17
Q

Can humankind escape adversity by trying to run away from it?

A

No. Everything that is in our life had its beginning in our mind. Adversity is the result of our wrong use of our thoughts, feelings, actions, and reactions. Therefore, wherever we go, we take our mind (thoughts attitudes, and feelings) with us.

18
Q

We cannot run away from adversity, but we can change our:

A

wrong beliefs about a condition.
1. Life is consciousness
2. What are you conscious of?
3. What are you aware of?

19
Q

What is the remedy for suffering?

A
  1. To realize that we are spiritual beings.
  2. Watch every thought and base every thought and feeling on Truth
20
Q

Where is Victory first won?

In the Silence of our own soul.

21
Q

What is the result of our persistently seeking God in every situtation?

A

If we persist, God does not resist. We find God as the answer in any circumstance or any situtation. If you are in bondage to hate, then persistently seek God.
A. The result: you find God as Love.
B. You love the situtation.
C. Love harmonizes the situtation.

22
Q

Is there any condition in which God cannot be found?

A

There is only One Presence and One Power - God the Good.
1.God is all there is - there is nothing else. Because God is All, there is no situation or condition in which God cannot be found.
2. If we are involved in a situation that appears not good, good is there. So we must learn how to use the laws of life correctly to discern it.
3. God Substance, God Power, God Life, and God Intelligence are always waiting to be accepted by humankind.
4. God is in every situation or condition.
