5th Basic Truth Principle
Instead of seeking primarily for “demonstration” or for manifest results
Our objectives or purpose must be:
a. To seek first the kingdom and how to live accordingly to God’s Divine Law
b. To learn how to express and radiate God consciously
c. To become acquainted with our spiritual nature
d. “To be transferred in spirit, soul, body by the mind.” (Revealing Word - pg 131)

One’s thoughts should be centered on:
a. Divine Ideas
b. Spiritual progress
What are the promises of God?
- The “promises of God” are the contracts or agreements between God and Its creation.
- They may be recognized as laws.
What are laws in the physical universe (creation)?
i. Action of seed in plant growth
ii. Tides
iii. Rising and setting of the sun, etc.
Laws for humankind are recognized as:
i. Covenant
ii. Contract
iii. Agreement
God’s responsibility is:
i. To honor our request when we claim our good.
ii. To give from its inexhaustible supply of divine ideas.
Iii. Illumination
iv. Healing
v. Peace of mind and all Its qualities
Humankind’s responsibility is:
i. To demand or claim our good
ii. To pray affirmatively
iii, To use understanding faith
iv. To obey the law
v. To abide in the consciousness of God as Source
What is the law of the universe?
Like begets like.
a. Every persistent thought produces after its kind.
b. Spiritual law is - “we are what we think”
c. Negative thoughts give negative results
d. Affirmative thoughts give positive results
Does asking for a thing we desire play a part in spiritual demonstration?
Yes, asking is the first step toward making a demonstration
a. Desire is an idea from God.
b. We ask in faith and put the law of fulfillment into action.
Asking shows:
a. Faith in God.
b. A vision of desired good.
c. Receptivity to ideas of God-mind.
d. Use of one’s freedom of choice.
God, Divine Mind is a reservoir which:
a. Must be tapped through asking.
B. Is activated by humankind’s faith.
c. Results received according to humankind’s faith.
Humankind, in its quest for regeneration, must come to an understanding of:
a. Who and what God is.
b. Who and what humankind is, and
c. How to transform their lives through one’s thinking.
