Q

What is the Statement of Lesson 1?

A

As each goose flaps its wings, it creates an “uplift” from the birds following behind. By flying in a “V” formation the whole flock of geese adds 71% more flying distance than a single bird flying alone.

Q

What is the Statement of Lesson 2?

A

Whenever a goose falls out of the “V” formation it suddenly feels the drag of the wind and the resistance of flying alone, so it quickly gets back into formation to take advantage of the lifting power of the birds immediately in front.
