What is migration?
the seasonal movement of animals form one place to another and usually back again.
Not all animals migrate..
Some animals have evolved special adaptions which allow them to stay and survive harsher conditions. These animals stay in one place all year round.
What is hibernation?
Hibernation is a way some animals save energy to survive extreme conditions. The animals are able to slow their heart rate down, falling in to a long dormant state of unconsciousness.
What do scientist use to track animal movement?
Digital trackers. They are important as a scientist can track an animal through different seasons and find out where they go or stay to survive.
