invisible microscopic mould spores are all around us, floating around the air. When it lands somewhere with the right conditions it starts to feed, grow and multiply. Mould grows on most surfaces, including dead matter and food.
Yeast is another type of fungi?

Does Yeast breathe?
Like all living things, yeast respires the gas carbon dioxide (Co2). Air bubbles in bread indicate that the yeast has been activated.
