dysentery
Any of various disorders involving inflammation of the intestine, especially of the colon, and associated with frequent and bloody stools, tenesmus, and abdominal pain.
Colitis
means inflammation of the colon (large intestine),
enterocolitis
describes inflammation of both the large and small intestines.
ulcerative colitis
Chronic inflammatory ulceration of the colon, primarily affecting the mucosa and submucosa. Characterized by diarrhea, abdominal pain, and rectal bleeding.
Crohn disease
chronic inflammation of the GI tract, which causes the intestinal wall to thicken. Signs and symptoms include crampy abdominal pain, fever, fatigue, loss of appetite, persistent diarrhea, and weight loss.
fistulae
Abnormal passages either between two internal organs or leading from an organ to the surface of the body.
