What are questionnaire items
A series of questions developed with an aim of data collection for research purposes

They are variables that can be grouped into categories by assigning a label
What is a rating scale
It’s an assessment technique where response options are ranked in a systematic order.

It is ways of knowing that are embedded in indigenous peoples traditions and cultures

It is a language that is native to the people of the land

It is the invasion of and forceful settlement in foreign lands and designing policies and practices that ensure systematic exploitation of those lands cultural social and economic resources

What are the components of good questionnaire items
- Be based on a meaningful definition of description of what you want to measure.
- Constructing items requires in-depth knowledge of the topic and requires creativity in selecting items appropriate to context
