Define the term Byzantine Empire. How did it begin?
The Eastern half of the Roman Empire. It began when Emperor Constantine split the Roman Empire into an Eastern and western half.

Constantine was a Roman Empire. He was the first Christian emperor and legalized Christianity.

It survived a millennia ending with the Ottoman conquests

Frescoes are mural paintings on lime plaster. Cameos is a carving technique and usually produces jewelry.

An aqueduct is a form of pipe used to quickly transport water. Romans build very durable roads
Describe Latin language and numbers and how they apply to us today.
Latin words contain roots in many languages used today. Latin numbers are used now in things like clocks, sundials, watches, and books.

Natural law, Stoicism, equality, fair trial, citizenship not based on status or race.
