Refer to the ABO-NCLE basic candidate handbook as to what topics may be tested on during the exam. I passed my ABO having primarily focused on the information presented in lessons 3-14,16, 23-24.

The NOCE does not test your knowledge of contact lenses. Be sure you have memorized the formulas and are comfortable solving the various calculations. Know the most recently updated ANSI tolerance standards. Know the refractive index and Abbe values for various lens materials.
