Specific
It is easy to measure by using research instruments in collecting data.
Measurable
The data are achievable using correct statistical techniques to arrive
at precise results.
Achievable
Real results are not manipulated. Results are based on the application
of statistical treatment as well as from the research instruments used
by the researchers.
Realistic
The study can be completed in a given set of time, or in accordance of
the timeline set by the instructor.
Time-Bound
This answers the question “Why?” why is there an investigation, inquiry
or study?
Aim or purpose
This answers the question “What?” what is to be investigated or
studied?
The subject matter
This answers the question “Where?” Where the study will be
conducted?
The place or locale
This answers the question “Who?” Who are the respondents? From
whom the data are to be gathered?
