Lesson 10 Flashcards
When predicting terms in polynomials how do you find the exponents of A and B?
The exponent of A will be one less the number of the term subtracted from the power the polynomial is being raised to.
The exponent of B is difference of the exponent of A and the power the polynomial is being raised to.
When predicting terms in polynomials how do you find the number of factors the coefficient will have?
It is one less than the number of the term.
How do you find the numerator of a polynomial based on the binomial theroem?
The first is one. The second is the power the binomial is being raised to. Every term after that is the power times one less the power times 2 less the power, etc.
How do you find the denominator of a polynomial based on the binomial theorem?
The first is one. The second is one and every term after that is one times one plus one times one times one plus 2, etc.
