Lesson 10 Flashcards
Antigen :-
(الجزاء الي يحدد اذا چان لازم هاي الخلية او ال Microbiology تنقتل لو لا ((مثل البروتين الي يغطي الفايروس الي ترتبط عليه ال antibodies))
PHAGOCYTOSIS :-
tissue macrophages.
neutrophils
monocytes
Antibody types :-
GAMED
igG :- most common (mono)
igA :- in mucus, tears, saliva and GI fluids (liquids) (di)
igM :- first one secreted after antigen enter the body, the responsible the agglutination of incompatible blood types (5 together⭐) or (mono)
igE :- attached to mast cell and basophils (mono)
igD :- in the surface of B-cells, stimulate B-cells (mono)
Complete and incomplete phagocytosis :-
Complete phagocytosis :- is the complete destruction of the harmful object
incomplete phagocytosis :- is not the complete destruction of the harmful object (usually when the harmful object is living (bacteria, fungi or viruses)) (usually because of the pathogen itself and less often because of the immune problem)
incomplete phagocytosis :-
Complete phagocytosis :- is the complete destruction of the harmful object
incomplete phagocytosis :- is not the complete destruction of the harmful object (usually when the harmful object is living (bacteria, fungi or viruses)) (usually because of the pathogen itself and less often because of the immune problem)
Non-immune phagocytosis :-
macrophages are capable of phagocytizing foreign particles, microorganisms and the remains of damaged cells directly, without calling an immune response.
High and low temperatures effects?
High temperaturehas :- a killing effect
low temperatures :- inhibition of metabolic processes,
