A

Essential features of a PTW?

A

Who is allowed to authorise the jobs and who is responsible for safety precautions

Only be issued by a technically competent person, who is also authorised by the employer

Provision of training and instruction, use and closure of permits

Monitoring and auditing to ensure the PTW system works as intended

Clear identification of hazardous work

Identification of tasks, risk assessments, task duration, and any additional activity or control measure

A

Serial number

Name of person in charge of the job
