- A chapter may elect more than one vice president and divide the above duties. Your chapter’s Bylaws, as well as tradition, will dictate officer positions and responsibilities

Keeps the minutes of all chapter meetings. Responsible for proper handling of chapter correspondence and is custodian of records and documents

Responsible for the collection and disbursement of chapter funds, proper maintenance of accounting records, and forwarding membership records, fees, and clearance records to the Heritage Center. The treasurer is bonded by a surety bond carried by the fraternity for the faithful performance of the position

Student Membership Responsibilities 1
1 - Attendance at every chapter meeting and function
2 - Membership work: each member should recruit at least one new member per semester to ensure stability of the chapter
3 - Assume responsibility, be reliable and complete every task assigned and help other brothers where needed
4 - Cooperate with the president and other officers
5 - Make every effort to maintain at least a “B” average

8 - Support, abide by, and enforce the fraternity’s Constitution and Statutory Code, Board of Director’s Statement of Policy as well as all other fraternity policies and directives

Fraternity Membership dues are used to
- Provide all services rendered to members and chapters
- The general administration of the fraternity and the salaries of employees
- The publishing and sending of the Diary of Alpha Kappa Psi to undergraduate members
- Some expenses related to regional and fraternity conferences
Fraternal Student Member Dues are paid on:
October 15th and February 15th, yearly
