NODULE

MELANOSIS
Are flat circumscribed, with color change
and varies from that of pinhead several
centimeters that is not palpable
MACULES
A circumscribed, elevated lesion filled with
purulent fluid, less than 1cm in size
PUSTULES
A circumscribed, elevated, fluid-filled
lesion up to 1cm in size
* “small fluid-filled sac or blisters”
VISICLES
Superficial, elevated, solid lesion from
pinhead to about 5mm.
* Flat, conical, circular, and pointed
PAPULE
“Blebs”
* Larger and more deep seated,and the roof
of the cavity is more resistant to rupture
than of a vesicle

- Fluid-filled sac growth

Refers to a small nipple-shaped epithelial
tumor in which the cells cover finger-like
processes of stroma
PAPILLOMA
Painless bony growth
TORUS
Linear, often painful breaks within the skin
surface.
