A

Basic steps:

Obtain Examinee’s government photo ID
Provide the Examinee with a description of the exam suite
Identify all observation and recording equipment

Ensure that all topical areas in this document are fully discussed
Purpose is to provide examinee an opportunity to “correct” any mistakes or omissions
How else will this time benefit the examinee?
Student examiners are required to utilize a minimum of three pretest appeals
LEPET requires the examiner to “walk the line” between setting comparisons and appealing on relevant issues
Typically, Phase II questions will not be reviewed until the first phase has been resolved
Phase II questions are reviewed with the Examinee in the same sequence
Examiner should ensure that all key topical areas for each question are thoroughly explained
