a phrase, word, logo or symbol that is PROTECTED because it is registered as REPRESENTING a brand
what is a creative commons license? (CC)
means you can use a photographer or graphic designer’s work for free as long as you follow their requirements

symbols that are put onto photographs

rules enforced by the law to restrict / shape the way media works for safety and protection
