Leg and Ankle Flashcards
Origin and insertion of gastrocnemius
supracondylar ridge of adductor tubercle of femur
and outer lateral condyle of femur
to the posterior calcaneous via the tendocalcaneous
Origin and insertion of Soleus
soleal line of tibia and upper posterior 1/3rd fibular
to the posterior calcaneous via the tendocalcaneous
attachments of Tibialis anterior
upper 2/3rds of lateral tibia and interosseous membrane
to medial side of medial cuneiform and base of first metatarsal
attachments of EHL
middle half of anterior fibula and interosseous membrane
to the dorsal base of distal phalanx of hallux
attachments of EDL
upper 2/3rds of anterior fibula, interosseous membrane and lateral tibial condyle
to dorsal surface distal and middle phalanx of lateral four toes as the extensor hood
attachment of peroneus longus
upper 2/3rds of lateral fibular and head of fibular
to plantar surface of medial cuneiform and base of 1st metatarsal
