Coronal suture, squamosal suture, lambdoidal suture, sagittal suture
what are the bones of the cranium
frontal, parietal, occipital, temporal
what are the bones of the nasocranium?
sphenoid, ethmoid, vomer, lacrimal, nasal, nasal conchae, palatine, maxilla, zygomatic, mandible
what is the difference between the supraorbital notch and torus?
notch is a hole for nerves and the torus is a rounded bony edge
define suture, fossa, foramen, process/protuberance, condyle, torus
suture - irregular shaped seam
fossa - bowl shaped
foramen - hole
process - bony protrusion with rough surface
condyle - bony protrusion with smooth surface
torus - rounded bony edge
