the percentage of people conforming increases as group size increases, but only up to a point

it is difficult to dissent if the group is unanimous.
What is normative influence and according to Deutsch and Gerard (1955)?
normative influence is going along with the crowd in order to gain approval
What is informational influence according to Deutsch & Gerard (1955)?
Informational influence leads people to conversion due to a desire to be correct.
