Pollination vs. Fertilization?

A

P - the process where pollen grains are transferred from the anther (male part) to the stigma (female part) of either the same flower or a different one.

F - the event following pollination. This is where the male gamete with the pollen grain combines with the female gamete, resulting in the formation of a seed.
