  2. Polarization: “Us” vs. “them” mindset, defensive attitudes.
  3. Minimization: Attempt to level cultural differences, moving beyond judgment.
  4. Acceptance: Acknowledgment of own and other cultures’ value.
  5. Adaptation: Understanding and valuing other perspectives, adjusting behavior.
  6. Integration: Appreciating multiple cultures, blending own and others’ values and behaviors.
