Q

participant observation

A

a research method where a researcher joins a group of people they want to study and becomes a part of their activities. The researcher observes how the group behaves and interacts while actively participating in their daily routines. By doing this, the researcher can better understand the group’s culture, beliefs, and values from an insider’s perspective.
