Is favourable when
-Population dynamics on the species indiacate that it is maintaining itself
-Natural range of the species is neither being reduced or likely to reduce
-Sufficiently large habitat to maintain its populations on a long term basis
What is Natura 2000?
Is a coherent European ecological network of SACs
-Composed of sites that are natural habitat types listed in Annex 1 and habitats of the species listed in Annex II
-Sites in the Birds Directive
