What is a logical fallacy?
An incorrect argument n logic and rhetoric resulting in a lack of validity or soundness. Essentially an error in reasoning
Why do nurses need to be able to identify logical fallacies?
Assists to uncover untruths, prevent manipulation and helps us review and analyse our own moral and ethical standpoints.

Ignore issues/withdraw from conflict. Opportunities missed and things can build up and “explode”

Give up own needs to “smooth over” to make others feel better. Can also lead to “explode” due to failure to honestly address/confront issues.

Get their way even if others have to give up their needs or wants and don’t care if they arent liked

Everyone gives up their wants and needs. Persuade everyone to give up and compromise, thus everyone loses something

Equal concern for issues and relationships. Solutions for win-win. Issues fairly faced together with seeking of full support of everyone involved.
