What are the signs & symptoms of viral hepatitis?
Nausea, vomiting, fever, dark urine, jaundice, hepatomegaly
What liver function tests tend to be abnormal in viral hepatitis?
Elevated bilirubin & alanine aminotransferase levels
What is the key pharmacological treatment for Hepatitis B & C?
Inteferons - strengthen host immune system after infection and prevent liver damage due to chronic infection
