  1. Plan - know what you are going to say, wear and do
  2. Prepare - make sure the words you are using are yours
  3. Practice - shouldn’t need to read from your notes
  4. Deliver - as you rehearsed
    i. While delivering
    1. Watch (eye contact)
    2. Listen (not just hearing)
    3. Think (use your brain, not your emotions)
  5. Interpret - use feedback to modify the communication

  • Leave your pitch pack
  • Take notes (invite a colleague and they can take that role)
