Jonah is not repenting, but he is praising God and longing to worship in Jerusalem.

Ninevites repent, king in sackcloth and ashes, God accepts their repentance
Why is Jonah angry?
Jonah didn’t want God to be merciful to Nineveh
Nineveh shouldn’t have become a part of God’s kingdom.
Foreigners are Israel’s enemies
What is important about God’s promise to Abraham?
Everyone can be a part of the kingdom of God, regardless of ethnicity.
