- Qualitative: gut feeling, judgement call, based on my experience
- Quantitative: needs the data, wants stats, facts

A
- less time (don’t have to wait for something to happen)
- less expense
- reduces risk
- draw conclusions w/implementation

What are disadvantages of using models?
A
- not always representative of the real world
- not all variables are valued correctly
- miss certain variables
- sometimes models are too complex

A
- focus on the facts and data
- step by step process
- no judgement
- paralysis by analysis
- what does the research say?

What is the nonrational/intuitive decision style?
A
- avoids stats and data
- gut decision makeers
- rely on intuition

What is the predisposed decision style?
A
- they make their decision before input
- ignore critical information: getting supporting evidence for their point but don’t show counter evidence
