Push as using the same pressure as it would take to move the skin on your scalp.
Start at crest, then Shoulders, Withers, barred, then rump and heart of tail.
When in the year do horses naturally tend to gain and lose weight?
They lose eight in winter and then gain it again in spring when the lush grass comes in.
In industry when do horses tend to gain weight?
In winter, owners feed more as the horse naturally loses weight. Then when lush grass comes in Spring they gain even more.
