ability to carry out ADLs, achieve fitness, maintain adequate nutrition and body fat levels, and avoid drugs, alcohol, and tobacco
Spiritual wellness
beliefs that provide meaning and purpose to life. Includes morals, values, and ethics.
Emotional wellness
ability to manage stress and express emotions appropriately.
Intellectual wellness
ability to learn and use information effectively for development. involves striving for continued growth and learning to deal with new challenges.
Occupational wellness
ability to achieve balance between work and leisure time. individuals beliefs about education, employment and home influence personal satisfaction and relationships with others
