What are the characteristics of good clinical practice?
A
Treating patients with respect at all times
Not prejudicing care because you believe patients behaviour contributed to condition
Upholding duty and not discriminating by irrelevant grounds
Giving priority to investigating and treating patients on basis of clinical need and effectiveness of proposed investigations of treatment.
Keeping yourself and staff safe when caring for patients. Take action against the risk but do not deny care of patients if reasonable steps can be taken to keep you/staff safe.
