Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder

- Trying to protect children from these negative emotions are depriving people from experiences that will help them navigate these emotions

Greater Individualism
- We have been promoting individualist
- Trying to work hard to ‘better yourself’ (Creating competition)]

We aren’t actually sadder, but we are more inclined to read our emotions as illness Medicalization has seeped into our everyday lives
