What are there in the Access Token?
User SID, other SIDs, Privilege, Other information
What features does a file server support?
Storage, shared folders, replication between distributed file servers (DFS), fast file searching, access from other NOS’s (e.g. Unix)
What are 3 share permission?
read, change, full control
What does the Read permission allow?

Describe Printer Terminology
Including logical and physical printers. When we hit the PRINT button, the computer actually sends to the logical printer. After a processing step, the logical printer will send the information to the physical printer. Note that 1 logical printer can control multiple physical printer as well as multiple logical printers can be used to control 1 physical printer.
What are security options for network printing?
Print; Manage this printer; Manage documents
What does the “mange documents” in the printer permission allow?
In the logical printer, we could choose to change the document
What is printer pooling?
Printer pooling combines multiple physical printers into a single logical unit.
Advantages of printer pool
- Increases availability and scalability
- Requires that all printers use the same driver
- Requires that all printers are in the same location
How to prioritising printer use with soft printers?
Use multiple logical printers to print to a physical printers + allocate different priority of logical unit.
What is Web Server
In windows: Internet Information Services (IIS); distributes docs via the http protocol; Relies on DNS to translate URLs into IP addresses.
What is Application Server
- Used to add dynamic content to web pages
- Connects web pages to databases (Generally needs SQL server also installed)
What does SOA record type means?
Start of Authority, store information about the zone, configures replication behaviour, set the default TTL for names in the zone
