Q

What is a problem with the kind of data that can be collected for animal research?

A

As animals cannot talk only the outward behaviour can be studied, animals cannot be questioned about how they feel, their responses etc. - a high degree of interpretation of animal behaviour may be required, usually only quantitative data can be gathered, not qualitative
