- the conference took over the case and made the treaty v. biased towards the large powers
- showed the League could be bullied by the main European powers
Why was the Corfu incident a success?
- It prevented an all out war

The Greeks would pay 50 million lire into a Swiss bank as compensation to await the result of the investigation.
