Leader makes all decisions. Task oriented, concerned with results
Describe democratic leadership
Leader listen to the group before making a decision. Concerned with individual success and wellbeing
Describe Laissez-faire leadership
Leader has little input. Led by senior players, less motivated players can stop working
In what situations are Autocratic and democratic best in
Autocratic - best in most favourable and least favourable situation
Democratic - best in moderately favourable situation

Leader should use an interactive approach to balance the situation, the leader and the group

Individual sports may need a more democratic/laissez-faire style. E.g. athletics
