I am intelligent/smart.
You (s) are odd.

She is very pretty.
Elle est très belle / jolie.
People are strange.
On est bizarre.
(Les gens sont bizarres.)
We are here.
Nous sommes ici.
(On est ici.)
You (plural) are students.
Vous êtes élèves / étudiants.
Whereas “élèves” is used for younger pupils, “étudiants” is usually reserved for high school, college, and university. The masculine plural form is also the default form for “étudiants” when the gender of the subject is not specified.
You (polite) are a teacher.
Vous êtes professeur(e).
This is a good example of when articles are omitted when using the verb ÊTRE and an unmodified (undescribed) profession. In English, we say “a,an” but we don’t use “un/une” in French in a situation such as this.
They (m) are cooperative.
Ils sont coopératifs.
They (f) are in school.
Elles sont à l’école.
I am not patient.
Je ne suis pas patient(e).
You (pl) are not athletic.
Vous n’êtes pas sportifs.
We are not calm.
Nous ne sommes pas calmes.
On n’est pas calme.
She is very nice.
Elle est très gentille (sympa).
We are so trendy.
Nous sommes si branché!
On est si branchés!
