What is “le subjonctif”?
It describes a mood that expresses uncertainty, fear, doubt, wish, fear, etc.
When is “le subjonctif” used?
It is mostly used after the word “que” but sometimes after “qui”

- Bien que
How do you form it?
- take the “ils/elles” form of the verb
- take off the present tense ending (i.e.) “issent” or “ent
- add the appropriate endings
there are many irregular verbs as well (savoir)

What happens if the subjunctive is in the past?
- Conjugate the subject with “avoir” in the subjunctive
- Add past participle of verb you want to sue
i.e. Il faut qu’il ait vécu son rêve. (He must have lived his dream.)
Il faut que je fasse mes devoirs.
It is necessary that I do my homework.
