Decreased medial thigh sensation + decreased ability of hip aDduction. Nerve lesion?
Obturator
Decreased thigh flex and leg extension. Nerve lesion?
Femoral
Foot drop; foot is inverted and plantar-flexed at rest (from loss of eversion and dorsiflex); steppage gait; loss of sensation of dorsum of foot. Nerve lesion?
Common peroneal
Inability to curl toes; loss of sensation of sole of foot. Nerve lesion?
Tibial n
Inability to curl toes; loss of sensation of sole of foot. Foot everted at rest w/ loss of inversion and plantar-flexion. Nerve lesion?
Tibial n
Pelvis tilts when patient puts weight on leg w/ lesion. The contralateral hip drops. Nerve lesion?
Super gluteal n (note: this is the least awkward way I could describe the Trendelenburg sign)
Can’t climb stairs or rise from seated position. Loss of hip extension. Nerve lesion?
Interior gluteal
Common cause of obturator lesion?
Pelvic surgery
Common cause of femoral n lesion?
Pelvic fracture
