Define Hot Pursuit
An extension of Jurisdiction across the Maritime Boundary Line, provided that the VSL evades boarding, and the pursuit is continuous and uninterrupted.
When does Hot Pursuit cease?
When the VSL enters the territorial sea of another coastal state.
What are the minimum actions that take place during the boarding?
1) Search for fish, fishing gear etc.

Definition of an unlicensed seaman
All persons aboard a Commercial Fishing VSL, except for licensed masters aboard VSL’s 200T
An unlicensed seaman on a commercial fishing VSL must be one of:
a) US Citizen
b) Permanent resident Alien (green card)
c) Alien employed under the Immigration and Nationality Act. (working VISA)
75/25 rule
No more than 25% of unlicensed seaman on a commercial fishing VSL may be allowed to an alien employed under a working VISA.
