Describe the term “Life-cycle Assessment (LCA)”
Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is a method used to evaluate the environmental impacts associated with a product, process, or system throughout its entire life cycle. The life cycle covers all stages, from the extraction of raw materials, through manufacturing and use, to the eventual disposal or recycling at the end of its life. LCA is a useful tool to check how different activities affect the environment, helping us make smart decisions to reduce their negative impact.
