What do keratinocytes do?
They make and store the protein keratin.
What is keratin and what does it do?
It makes hair, skin, and nails hard and provides water-resistant properties.
What layer of skin houses blood vessels, nerves, and other structures?
The Dermis.
What are the two layers of connective tissue in the dermis?
Papillary layer.
Reticular layer.
Inside the papillary layer, what does the cell fibroblasts make?
Collagen.
